Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

Ava’s preschool went to the pumpkin patch today for their very first field trip.

First we went to visit the horses.

Daddy is so clever. He found some straw to feed the horses.

Then it was time to go on a tractor ride.

When the tractor ride ended, it was time to pick a pumpkin.

Ava searched and searched for that perfect “punkman”.

Daddy: “This is a nice Ava-sized one.” Ava: “No, it’s got stuff (dirt?) on it.”

Daddy: “Look at this one Ava.” Ava: “I don’t like it.”

Daddy finally asked Ava what kind of pumpkin she wanted. She said it had to be orange, round, and little. We finally found one that Ava liked but she wouldn’t hold it for a picture.

After picking a pumpkin, the kids got to find their way through a maze.

The field trip ended with a yummy snack of juice and popcorn.

Such a fun little field trip. It was great meeting all of Ava’s classmates and their parents.

What an adorable makoever! I love it!! At first I thought this was a stencil because, you know in my world everything revolves around paint. I thought you must have the patience of a saint to stencil that entire piece! LOL!!! It’s so pretty–good job!
