So recently my dad gave me this old motorcycle, a 1968 Honda Trail 90.
Around here it is hard to find a male over the age of 35 that has not ridden or owned a Honda 90 at some point. After a little restoration (new tail pipe, new headlight, replacement air filter hose, oil change, new battery, carb rebuild, valve adjustment, new rear shocks), it is back in good mechanical shape and is my new commuter bike to go to work and back and around town. Top speed? 48MPH… maybe 49 if you have a few miles to get up there. My dad bought it 20 years ago in 1993 and it has survived three boys and numerous hunting expeditions. It’s fun to ride around and has a certain classic appeal… at least to me.
Found a bunch of old ads from Field & Stream magazine thanks to the Google Books project.
