We had so much fun on this trip! Ava was a dream during the very looooong car ride (thanks to Nana and all the fun toys she brought along). Grampa knew about all the dams we passed, we even stopped at one for a nice break. I can’t remember the name of the dam… but here are a few pics.

And speaking of great toys that Nana brought along.. a bird book was Ava’s very favorite!! At first we looked at all the different birds and discussed their features. Then it turned into a rhythmic story that Ava read over and over (in the video below) and now it has evolved into a story about 2 mourning doves named Eeny and Enna. This book goes everywhere with Ava, even to bed.

brag time!
I think Scott will be pretty embarrassed that I mentioned this because he’s so humble, but I must brag about my awesome husband. While in Quincy, word got out on what a skilled and professional pilot Scott is. The president of the powered parachute club approached Scott and asked him if he would consider becoming a Certified Flight Instructor! I just think this is so cool because there were over 50 pilots there and for them to recognize Scott’s talent and single him out is pretty amazing.
