Ava and I went to the mall to do a little Christmas shopping. Ava mentioned that she would like to pick out a gift for Welly-Belly. She is so sweet and thoughtful to think of our cat, who lives out in the cold all winter! I took her to petco to look at cat toys. I was lucky to have my camera in my pocket because Ava was the cutest, most focused little shopper I’ve ever seen! They had Ava-sized carts and Ava felt so grown up pushing her own through the store. She asked, “Mommy, which aisle are the cat toys on?” I led the way, she put two things in her cart and headed for the checkout!
She picked out a bag of cat treats and some pink mice with catnip in them. After we arrived home, she wrapped them all by herself. She later decided that she wanted to give the treats to Wellington and the mice to Chessey (Max’s cat). She’s so cute! I love that girl!
