Ava is always making up rhyming stories, but here is one I remembered to write down:
Mr. Leandot has a very big head,
Mr. Leandot looks like…
Mr. Leandot is a very big guy.
Mr. Leandot helps make chai.
Playing at Rafiki’s (an indoor play place), a 6-year-old girl approaches Ava and says, “Come with me, I’ll show you a place we can run.” Ava replies, “No! I’m just a child who wants to play.”
Ava runs over, gives me a hug and says, “Mommy, you’re the biggest!”
