Jenn and Ava are taking a bath, and I am sitting in the bedroom writing this and checking on our stocks. So far I have beat the market by about 10% year-to-date, so I am happy about that. I got a lot done last week, finished the bathroom with ceramic tile, new sinks and a new toilet. Next is to call Bathcrest and have them make our bathrub white instead of harvest gold. I also got the crown molding done in the kitchen. It doesn’t look that great but I have learned that I am not very good at crown molding, so at least I learned something. I used the pre-mitered corner joints which in retrospect was a mistake. I was going to not use them but I took them all out of their wrappers and had them all painted before I figured out it was not a great idea. Oh well. Lots of painting last week as well with all the trim and touch-up.
Tonight I did some yard cleanup, and picked up all the trimmings that I had left from several weeks ago.
Lost more to do, but at least we have crossed a couple of items off our list.
